Bill Edinger – Director-At-Large

Bill Edinger is the General Manager for Process Instrumentation (PI) at Siemens Industry Inc., Process Industries & Drives Division. Bill is responsible for sales, customer support, marketing, engineering and manufacturing for PI in the United States.

Graduating in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, Bill began his career with Moore Products Company where he held various positions ranging from application engineer to regional sales manager.

Several years after being acquired by Siemens, in 2004, Bill co-developed the model for and went on to manage a new, direct vertical sales team for the business. In 2011, he was selected to lead the overall business for the United States.

He is an inaugural graduate of the Siemens Emerging Leaders Forum and has served as a member of the Siemens Emerging Leaders Forum Alumni Council. He is currently President of the Siemens Process Instrumentation Global Sales Council as well as an incoming board member of the Measurement Control and Automation Association.

Bill lives in Reading, Pennsylvania with his wife Robin. They have two sons, both students at University Park.
