
MCAA Announces 2022 Board of Directors
The Measurement, Control & Automation Association (MCAA) announces its 2022 Board of Directors. MCAA President, Teresa Sebring, said, “I am excited to welcome our newest Officers and Directors. The MCAA Board is comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds and industry experiences that make them an asset to the organization. All MCAA members will benefit from their leadership, insight, and resolve to implement valuable industry resources.”
Colin Sheridan, President, Tel-Tru Manufacturing Co. is the incoming Chairman of the Board. Since 2014, Mr. Sheridan has served as President of Germanow-Simon Corporation and its operating businesses Tel-Tru Manufacturing and GS Plastic Optics based in Rochester, NY. Tel-Tru is a leading manufacturer of precision temperature and pressure instruments while GS Plastic Optics excels at providing high tolerance custom polymer optics for medical, defense and commercial markets. Prior to Germanow-Simon, Colin led numerous high growth technology companies including serving as CEO of IPLogic, a communications technology and professional services firm and serving as President of Lunch Byte Systems. Colin began his career with Accenture in Chicago and progressed through several leadership roles in technology-based companies in Chicago before returning home to Rochester. Colin currently sits on the boards of various non-profit community organizations and has served on several industry advisory boards. Mr. Sheridan served as Vice Chairman in 2021 and has been on the MCAA Board since 2018.
Matthew Carrara, Vice President and General Manager, Schneider Electric is the incoming Vice Chairman/Treasurer. Mr. Carrara has spent the last 30 years in sensors and process controls used in several industrial markets and is currently Vice President and General Manager of Schneider Electric’s Process Analyzers and Field Instrumentation Lines of Business. His focus is the creation and execution of the overall strategy resulting in a transformational change to the business; in the key areas of Offer Management, Channel Management, Product Development, Marketing, and Operational Delivery. His market experience spreads across O&G, chemical, refining, WWW and plastics processing. Prior to coming on board in 2013, he was Vice President, General Manager of Dynisco; a provider of sensors and controls for the Plastics processing process. He has been on the MCAA Board since 2020.
