2016 Press Releases
Effective August 1, 2016 the Board of Directors of MCAA appointed Teresa Sebring as President of the Association. As she transitions to retirement, former president Cynthia Esher will continue as a consultant to the Association.
The annual Market Forecast published by MCAA, prepared by Global Automation Research, shows the PI&A market experienced minimal growth in 2015. At $11.6 Billion, the flat 0.3 increase was attributed largely to the decline in oil prices.
2015 bookings in the process measurement and automation industry declined approximately 4.4 % according to data reported by members in various bookings reports. This report provides an overview of that data exclusively for members.
The inaugural class of honorees was inducted in April into the Measurement, Control and Automation Hall of Fame. Gordon Arnold, Wade Mattar, and Dick Morley received the honor during the MCAA Industry Forum held in Nashville, Tennessee.
240 attendees from 75% of MCAA’s member companies attended the Industry Forum held in Nashville, TN with an insight-filled program focused on “Visions of the Future.”
