Steve Heroux
Founder
The System of Selling

Full Bio

Steve Heroux is the founder of The System of Selling, a groundbreaking business operating system that helps organizations fix broken sales systems and build scalable, predictable revenue engines. He is a bold voice in the business world, challenging outdated, pressure-driven sales methods that burn out great people and often do more harm than good. Steve’s journey into sales began unexpectedly when, as a quiet, shy, and reserved 18-year-old, he took a job selling Cutco knives to help pay for college. What started as a reluctant part time job became a breakthrough moment by his senior year he became the number one Cutco knife salesperson in the United States. He later went on to become the number one new account opener at Aflac out of more than 60,000 producers nationwide.
Rather than follow the traditional path of scripts, manipulation, and closer culture, Steve built a philosophy rooted in trust, skill, and human connection. That philosophy evolved into The System of Selling, where he helps leaders confront an uncomfortable truth most sales challenges are not people problems, they are system problems.

At the center of his work is a direct challenge to what he calls hope-based selling, the way most organizations unknowingly operate. Instead, he helps leaders replace hope with strategic, structured, and repeatable systems that drive consistent, scalable growth.
As a highly sought after speaker and advisor, Steve has delivered keynotes across North America, and his sessions are known for their clarity, conviction, humor, and zero fluff delivery. He is also the author of The Sales Contrarian, where he challenges nearly everything organizations believe about traditional sales training and performance. Beyond the stage, Steve is the founder of The Million Veteran Mission, a nonprofit dedicated to helping one million veterans transition into civilian careers through ethical, effective sales education, provided free for life. Steve does not deliver motivation or recycled ideas. He helps organizations fix what is actually broken so they can build sales systems that produce consistent performance, stronger forecasting, and long-term growth.

Meagan Johnson
Speaker & Author

Full Bio

Meagan is known as a “Generational Humorist” and challenges her audiences to think differently and act decisively when dealing with multiple generations.

Educating through entertainment since 1997, Meagan has worked with a variety of organizations and associations to build multi-generational effective relationships. In her presentation, Zap the Gap: Generational Differences Reexamined, she explains how each generation developed its values and how these values creep into the workplace and marketplace.

Each generation holds fast to its values, so it’s important to understand and respect them to bring out the best in everyone. Meagan believes each generation actually has more in common than many people think and helps her audiences find common ground and build on generational strengths. She believes the best strategy for success is not thinking about how people are different but thinking about how people are the same.

Meagan and her Baby Boomer father, Larry Johnson are the authors of Generations, Inc – From Boomers to Linksters, Managing the Friction Between Generations at Work. She has written a variety of articles about the multiple generations and has been interviewed for many publications and audio programs. She has been quoted in The Chicago Tribune, CNNMoney.com, US News & World Report and many other publications.

Each generation has a different perception of what motivates them. Meagan says, “Every generation gets a negative label when it enters the workforce. For example, Baby Boomers were called trouble-making hippies when they first went to work. Once we take time to understand the motivations and mind-set of each generation, working with them, communicating with them and managing them becomes a more successful effort”. Learn from Meagan what you can do now to make the most of each generation in your workplace!
